not just dabbling at the idea of creating an eclectic label. Upon entering the West Village men’s shop you will instantly gander upon the mechanical clothing rack suspended from the ceiling that was a hold over form the prior tenant, a dry cleaner.

It showcases the entire woven button down collared shirts in an array of color and patterns. Fowler shirts are well known for their fit and attention to detail. If they don’t have your size in the store, make sure you leave your information with Chuka or Grahame; they very well have it in production in the studio.

Well appointed environment with a mix of vintage and antique furniture, comfortable club chairs, oriental rugs stacked on area rugs, and scooters in the corner.

A collection of antique watches are on display and are for sell, at any given moment you might find an Omega or even a Rolex on display. Weathered Falstaff jackets hanging about, this definitely has a look and feel of a hip men’s club, though ladies are invited to join the conversation.

As a former textile designer, Fowler has a keen understanding how a fabric will perform. In addition, he has a deep understanding what a quality fabric feels like and what is expected of the fabric after it is washed, draped and cut. Fowler brings his vast knowledge of textiles to the very wearable garments that he designs and manufactures in New York.

Graham Fowler West Village mens fashion Spring/Summer suits offer a range of three-button closure that is constructed in high density washed Japanese twill weave fabric. His jackets have hidden straps on the inside to hold a newspaper, perfect for the urbanite or traveler! Comfortable, wearable and even washable, how cool is that?

Bespoke services are available, when visiting 138 West 10th in the West Village, inquire about their tailoring services.

In addition to the garments and accessories that are a mainstay in Fowler’s shop, he carries bench made shoes from England, Trickers. 1829 Trickers was established offering bespoke and bench made shoes. High quality, impeccable detail, nothing else compares. Recently added for warmer months, Boat Shoes by Eastland, made in Maine Freeport USA, established in 1955.

Fowler carries the reproduction of the original 501 button fly blue jeans made by Levis. Loomed by the original shuttle looms that weave the coveted selvage denim. There are a few factories in the Carolinas that still weave selvage denim. Levis decided to reintroduce the original design in a limited production, and Grahame Fowler is one of the few shops in New York that carries this covetted line.

Ask how to break in your new Levis; this is not your run of the mill acid wash designer denim. It will take a certain finesse to break in your first pair. You will be instructed to buy 2 inches larger in the waiste to allow for the shrinkage. Be sure to ask the question when making the purchase.

Grahame Fowler in the West Village is like a cool closet for the urban gentleman. It can easily be defined as a hip men’s club, with accommodating chairs, relaxing environment, and milling about are devotees to Fowler's lifestyle label.
