| The label was put on hiatus when the company began focusing on cosmetic and beauty products that led to the launch of TOCCA Beauty in 1997. TOCCA Beauty launch included three unique products, a solid perfume, a dry-oil skin smoother, and a laundry wash for fine delicates. Unorthodox categories in which to launch a new beauty line made TOCCA Beauty an instant success. TOCCA is opening its first stand-alone boutique in the West Village after spending the last decade focusing on their beauty business. The boutique will showcase TOCCA’s ready-to-wear collection designed by Australian designer, Emma Fletcher. The new line “ speaks to a certain grown-up clientele with beautifully wearable classics that exude a subtle sexiness and playfully refined style.” This collection marries delicate details including lace, embroidery, peter pan collars with du jour colors crisp tailoring awakening the modern ‘It Girl.’ |
